Aim of course
To train candidates in the safe use of specific tail lifts. (The tail lifts used on your vehicles or site.)
Course content

To cover relevant laws governing the safe use of tail lifts. (PUWER and LOLER regulations.) |

Ensure full understanding of the manufacturer's operating instructions for the type of tail lifts used on your site. |

Give candidates a daily checklist. |

Advise on defect reporting. |
 |
Process for vehicle tail lift checklist, pointing out items to be checked. |

Show correct opening and use of tail lift (including all safety items). |
 |
Correctly stow tail lift for travel and isolate. |
 |
Training records for each trained candidate. This will show what has being imparted on the training day. |
On completion of the course, certificates will be forwarded with copies of the training records.
This is the basic outline of the training we provide. If you require any additional information, that is particular to your site or operation, then please advise accordingly. If you would like us to discuss such items with your health and safety department prior to the course then again, please advise accordingly.
Cost of Training
£150 one session per day
£275 two sessions per day
£350 three sessions per day
Plus travel time from Northampton at £18 per hour and fuel/mileage at 40p per mile
Each session will take about 2 hours with 5 delegates in each session. We will run a maximum of 3 sessions in one day.
