As Stone Hardy is a national company, we are able to offer a good benefits package to our employees. Terms and conditions may vary slightly depending on the job role but the following are standard
Hours of work
Full-time contractual hours are usually between 37 and 45 hours per week. We are also willing to consider part-time, job share, flexible and home working for those jobs where this is appropriate.
Annual Leave
In addition to the usual statutory and bank holidays, our holiday allowance is currently 25 days per annum.
Salaries
We aim to offer competitive rates of pay in order to attract and retain skilled and valuable people. Our salaries are generally reviewed annually.
Overtime
Although not guaranteed, overtime is available, particularly for Engineers. Depending on salary level, overtime rates are calculated at time and a half with double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Pension Scheme
A contributory stakeholder pension scheme is in place, open to all employees.
Life Assurance
All employees between the ages of 18 and 65 are provided with life cover at a minimum of 1 x basic annual salary.
Health Cash Plan Scheme
All employees and their immediate families may join our fully funded health cash plan scheme which provides reimbursement of medical expenses including everyday expenses such as the dentist and optician.
Long Service Award
To recognise loyalty, we make an annual payment to any employee with over 3 years service which increases in level up to 10 years of service.
Recognition Scheme
A highly successful scheme in which employees nominate and judge others for ‘going the extra mile’. Vouchers are rewarded to successful nominees.
Staff Introductory Awards
In many cases, if an employee introduces a new employee to us, we will give a cash award after they have been employed for 6 months. |
