On the 13th March we will be relocating to a new development on Martinbridge Trading Estate, Lincoln Road, Enfield.

Our new Enfield site covers over 9000 sq feet and will allow workshop space for up to 16 vehicles – from small vans through to 40’ trailers.

The workshop will have the facility to carry out work ranging from routine servicing and minor repairs, to complete fitting of lifting equipment.  We will also be able to repair door shutters and vehicle curtains.

The parts department will hold a much larger range of parts thus ensuring greater availability, and more first time fixes.

Towards the end of 2010 Stone Hardy had the opportunity to negotiate and win an increase to its existing contract for the Lex-Autolease fleet taking this fleet to over 2000 pieces of equipment.

By the end of March we will have completed our engineer’s vehicle replacement programme for the period 2010/11. We have again gone for the premium Sprinter 313 van but this year with stop/start technology. This takes our Sprinter fleet to over 55 vehicles.

We have just signed a new 10 year lease at our Northampton Operation which will give us stability of staff and operation for the foreseeable future. We will be having a complete new roof and also spending some money and time on redecoration and signage!
