Full maintenance includes servicing tail lifts three times per annum, one inclusive of weight test and also LOLER Statutory Thorough Examinations as required. This service level can be reviewed and tailored to suit the operation. We also include breakdowns in and out of hours, parts, labour, call out, travel and mileage. Exclusions are damage, operational error, fitting faults, major component corrosion and replacement of hinged ramps.
This is the service provided to the majority of our customers. We provide a price based on the term of the contract in years and this price remains fixed throughout the term. We review our pricing annually for new contracts with new and existing customers; the annual reviews are carried out in November to take effect from 1st January the following year and are generally in line with RPI. The price is not specific by make or model unless the tail lift is especially designed for a specific operation. Standard pricing generally covers Column tail lifts, Tuck-away tail lifts, Cantilever tail lifts and Passenger tail lifts from 300kg to 1.5 ton.
